Built and Led by People Who Lived It

Formerly fostered.
Forever loved.

Formerly fostered is not a limitation, it’s a launchpad.

Young people leaving foster care are ready to build. F3 secures the home that makes building possible, then the mentorship, financial footing, education, and ownership that compound from there. We work alongside the organizations and agencies already serving youth, so their work goes further.

What F3 Does

Housing first, then a launchpad.

F3 secures and prepares safe homes, then surrounds each young person with the support that turns a roof into somewhere to build from.

Why F3

Built and led by people who lived it.

F3 is led by people who came through the system themselves. That lived experience shapes every decision, from how we speak about young people to how we design what comes next.

★

We’ve walked it

Our team brings lived experience, not just good intentions. We build what we wish we had been given.

◎

Housing is the foundation

Nothing else holds without a stable home, so housing comes first, every single time.

➤

Multiply through partnership

We strengthen the organizations already serving youth rather than competing with them.

What We Build

Five pillars of a life no one can take away.

Once a young person has a home, we surround them with everything a launchpad requires.

One
☉

Safe Homes

A stable, dignified place to live: the foundation everything else is built on.

Two
♥

Mentorship

Consistent adults who show up, listen, and walk alongside, never above.

Three
▲

Financial Empowerment

The footing to earn, save, and build wealth instead of just getting by.

Four
✎

Education

Support to finish school, train, and keep learning on their own terms.

Five
◆

Entrepreneurship

Ownership and the skills to build something that is truly theirs.

Support & Invest

Capital turns into keys.

Housing is the expensive part of this model and the part that unlocks everything else. If you fund, sponsor, or want to put your hands to the work, this is your door.

☉

Fund a home

Support goes directly into acquiring and rehabbing housing. We report what was bought, what it cost, and who it served.

▲

Invest alongside us

For investors who want capital working on real property with a mission attached. We will walk you through the structure plainly.

➤

Sponsor or volunteer

Trades, furnishings, professional services, and time. A rehab takes more than money, and skilled hands move us faster.

Before you give: F3 Loved is a mission-driven organization but is not yet a registered 501(c)(3). Contributions made today are not tax-deductible, and we will not tell you otherwise. We are pursuing 501(c)(3) status and will say so plainly on this page the day it is granted.
In Development

A front door for finding help.

Support for young people leaving care exists, but it is scattered across agencies, nonprofits, and programs that do not talk to each other. F3 is building a connector that answers one question well: what is actually available to this person, right now, where they are. We are not putting a date on it. We are telling you it is coming, because it is the piece of this work we most want to get right.

Questions, Answered

How F3 works with partners and policymakers.

If you represent an agency, a nonprofit, or a policy office, start here.

Who does F3 serve?
Young people with foster care experience, especially those preparing to leave care. In practice, the organizations, agencies, and policymakers who serve those youth are who this site is built for.
What does F3 actually do?
We secure and prepare safe homes, then pair them with mentorship, financial empowerment, education, and entrepreneurship. We handle the housing so our partners can focus on the young people.
How does F3 work with partner organizations?
F3 manages the full housing cycle, acquiring and rehabbing properties and delivering finished, move-in-ready homes. Partners place and support youth without having to build a real estate operation of their own.
How do referrals work?
Placement runs through our partner organizations rather than directly with F3. If you are a caseworker or a transition program and want to refer a young person, email us and we will connect you with the partner covering that area.
Is a gift to F3 tax-deductible?
Not today. F3 Loved is a mission-driven organization but is not yet a registered 501(c)(3), so contributions are not tax-deductible. We are pursuing that status and will update this page the day it is granted.
What makes F3 different?
We are built and led by people who came through foster care. Housing comes first, and we strengthen existing organizations rather than competing with them.
Where does F3 operate?
We are starting in Virginia, beginning in Fairfax, with a model designed to expand as partnerships grow.
How can my organization or agency get involved?
Reach out through the partner link below or connect with us on LinkedIn. We would love to talk.
